Speaker 1 00:00:10 Welcome to the L meditation and worship series with Westside church. Our hope is that this time together can be a breath of fresh air during passion week. Let us start today by pausing for a moment, let's focus our attention to Jesus and be expected of the movement of the holy spirit and our time together. If you're in a place to do so close your eyes, Hold out your hands in front of you and take a deep breath in And out. And another in And out Is Friday of passion week. Also known as good Friday Tonight at Westside church at 6:00 PM, we will be hosting a good Friday service that will be reflective and meditative. As we look to the cross and reflect on the work Jesus did in his death and resurrection Today together, we will be looking at Jesus last day, Allow the holy spirit to speak to you as we ourselves and reflect on Jesus. And they brought Jesus to a place called GGA, which means place of the skull. They offered him wine drugged with Mer, but he refused it. Then the soldiers nailed him to the cross. They divided his clothes and threw dice to decide who would get each piece. It was nine o'clock in the morning when they crucified him A sign announced the charge against him. Then he took Jesus' body down from the cross, wrapped it in cloth and laid it in a tomb that had been carved out of a rock. Then he rolled a stone in front of the entrance, Mary Magdalene and Mary, the mother of Joseph saw where Jesus' body was laid.
